Your estate file. The estate_data.json you load is read locally by
your browser and held only in your device's memory for the session. It is never
uploaded. When you save, the file is written back to your own disk (or downloaded as a
copy). Nothing is sent to us or any third party. A strict Content-Security-Policy enforces this
at the browser level, and there is no server endpoint that could receive your data.
Cloud-synced folders. If you choose to keep your file in a Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox or OneDrive synced folder, that file is synced to your own cloud account by your own software — that is your choice and outside this app. The app itself connects to nothing.
The site is served as static files by our host (Cloudflare Pages). Like any website, the host may process standard request information — such as your IP address — in server logs to deliver and protect the page. This is handled by the host under its own data-processing terms. We set no cookies, use no analytics, and load no third-party scripts.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. Your data lives solely with you. Under UK GDPR this design is "data protection by design and by default".
You can install Estate Tracker and run it with no internet connection — the clearest proof that your data never leaves your device.
